Jeferson David Aldana Sanchez (AA '25)

Major: Associate of Arts in Business Administration
High School: ITW Speer Academy
Involvements: Math Fellows and President of the Arrupe Business Society (ABS)

Hello! My name is Jeferson and I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.

How I chose my degree:
I selected this degree because it provides me with a stable and flexible career.

My plans after graduation:
I will be continuing at Loyola University Chicago.

What professor should a new student absolutely take a class with and why?
I would recommend that students take a class with Professor O'Brien. He is an exceptional professor who encourages his students to improve their writing skills and develop critical thinking abilities, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes positive learning outcomes.

What has been your most challenging class and how did it change you?
The most challenging class I have been in is Calculus I. This class was fast-paced, and I was constantly learning new concepts.

What are some surprisingly cool things about Arrupe?
What was your favorite moment during your time at Loyola?

What advice do you have for the incoming class?
My advice would be "Better to say 'I gave it my all' than to wonder 'what if I had tried harder?" I believe that students realize too late that they could've done better if they had put in more effort sooner.
